Store eggs in a cool, dark place. Eggs can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, refrigerate eggs for up to 5 weeks.
To hatch chicken eggs, you will need an incubator. Incubators can be purchased or built at home.
Once your eggs are in the incubator, they will need to be turned and monitored for temperature and humidity.
Chicks will hatch from their eggs after 21 days. Once they have hatched, they will need to be kept warm and fed.
Raise your chicks in a brooder until they are old enough to go outside.
Once your chicks are old enough to go outside, you can enjoy fresh, homegrown eggs all year round!
